Phoenix Propositions Pass In Early Results

As of 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, the unofficial election results from the city of Phoenix Special Election on six propositions are:

Prop 411 (Dates for Regular City Candidate Elections):  73.96% Yes / 26.04% No

Prop 412 (Power of City Council to Remove Elective Office Holders):  80.62% Yes / 19.38% No

Prop 413 (Southwest Gas Franchise Agreement):  65.48% Yes / 34.52% No

Prop 414 (Referral of Charter Amendments):  51.79% Yes / 48.21% No

Prop 415 (Citizens’ Commission on Salaries for Elected City Officials):  64.09% Yes / 35.91% No

Prop 416 (Random Sample Verification for Initiative and Referendum):  58.14% Yes / 41.86% No

These results include early ballots that the county has processed and tabulated prior to Election Day and ballots cast at polling places on Election Day. These numbers also are available at Phoenix.gov/Elections.

The county will continue to process and tabulate early ballots and provisional ballots over the next several days. The results on the Phoenix.gov website will be updated when new information is received.
