Sanders responded by listing all of the ways that the media has attacked her during her time in the administration. She declined to say that press is not the “enemy of the people.”

  1. I have been interested in the politics of our country since Late Eisenhower years right before Kennedy was elected. I avidly read the papers and watched the TV news for information on what was going on in our country.
About 40+ years back I began to doubt the veracity of what I heard and read, finding discrepancies in the telling of news. During the Bush years I was vindicated for thinking the News lied.. alot. Thanks to the internet I began to research much of what I heard/read by sifting the news for truth, little was found to be true.
Since President Trump was elected I have no respect or believe most of what I hear or read. I still research but now I try not to read too much or hear TV news. It’s too depressing. I stick my head out once in a while so as not to become ignorant but the bias is sickening and the disrespect and vileness of the “news” is more than I can take. For once I do believe that the Press is the enemy of the Country.
Think about how the “news” can shape how we see people. The opinions that grow in our brains like seeds, about people, ideas and places. For example “Fly over Country”,liberals, conservatives,God believers, Gun owners, music and different lifestyles. Immigration,Italians,Germans,Irish, white, black, brown people.
To an extent the press’s bias can turn people into enemies or friends as it suits their narrative. By intent, as the hate being generated against President Trump and the complete ignorance of the crimes of hillary clinton, et al.

  3. Of course the “Acostas” of the White House “press corp (the Democrat Party media partners ) know that “the enemy of the people” is a term of intimidation employed by the kind of statist government they wish America to become, like the People`s Republic of China and Cuba, for example. On the other hand, given their silence on the subject, the “Acostas” would seem to be totally ignorant of all President Trump`s accomplishments even in the face of the Democrat Party`s and their undermining him at every opportunity.

Sean Hannity put it nicely in a recent interview, “It’s like a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week obsession. Every second, every minute, every hour, every day … all they’re looking for is something to be outraged about as it relates to the president,” Hannity told Boyle and co-host Kaya Jones.
Acosta needs to grow up and pretend to be a journalist for once in his life.
