McCain Finally Laid To Rest, Ducey Expected To Name Replacement

On Sunday, Sen. John McCain was finally laid to rest during a private ceremony at the U.S. Naval Academy. McCain planned the multi-day cross-country funeral services.

While his bids to become president were twice rejected by the American people, McCain planned a farewell reserved for the Nation’s presidents.

The services took a decidedly political turn on Saturday when his daughter Meghan delivered his eulogy at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C.  According to Meghan, her father told her to deliver a eulogy that would “show them how tough” she is. She succeeded in appearing tough by attacking President Donald Trump, but reviews were mixed in the twittershpere:

Governor Doug Ducey refused to name McCain’s replacement until after the Senator’s final funeral service. According to multiple news outlets, he is expected to choose from a number of McCain loyalists including:

McCain’s wife Cindy
Cindy’s good friend Barbara Barrett
Ducey’s Chief of Staff Kirk Adams
Adam’s arch-enemy former-congressman-turned-lobbyist Matt Salmon
Maj. Gen. Michael McGuire, Director of the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs
President of the Arizona Cardinals Michael Bidwill
Former senator Jon Kyl

  1. PLEASE NO MORE ON THIS POLITICAL BUFFOON MCCAIN.
IF HILLARY WERE ELECTED WOULD THE DEMS BE SO FOND OF SPINELESS RINO JOHNNY
    MCCAIN???

  2. Very appropriate place for him to be buried. Right in the swamp where he has dwelled every since he held office……Keating 5 was only the beginning of the corruption for him

    • I had wondered the same thing. Just flying AF 2 to carry his body costs hundreds of thousands of dollars much less everything else that went on and his wife is a millionaire and could have afforded the service herself.

  3. I Pray I’ll never have to vote for another McCain again for lack of choice in representation – we’ve been prisoners of McCain long enough – may God rest his soul and mine as well, AMEN

  4. I actually feel bad for Johnnie’s father and grandfather, honorable men. But now and forever more the name “McCain” will be a permanent stain on American history.
