The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for Mr. Lonnie Townsend. Mr. Townsend is suffering from dementia.
Mr. Townsend left for a walk at 7:00 a.m. on August 31, from his daughter’s residence. The area is surrounded by desert. Tracks were found leading towards the Anthem Area in a wash.
A reported sighting on August 31, placed him at the Goodwill store near the Anthem Outlet mall in Phoenix.
He was last seen wearing jeans, t-shirt, cowboy blue and plaid print snap long sleeve shirt with white tennis shoes. He has cut his hair short.
