Hereford Woman Nabbed For Human Smuggling

On Tuesday evening, Border Patrol agents nabbed a Hereford woman, age 41, for smuggling two illegal aliens. The woman was arrested after she attempted to flee from Brian A. Terry Station agents near Bisbee.

The woman and the two men, identified as Mexican nationals, ages 18 and 20, were spotted by camera operators at the Brian A. Terry Station. Agents witnessed the two men walk through the desert and enter a black pickup truck on the side of Highway 92.

The camera operators directed nearby agents to the truck for an immigration stop.

When the vehicle stopped, two male passengers fled on foot but were quickly apprehended by responding agents. Meanwhile, the woman sped away for a short distance. When agents encountered the truck a second time, they arrested the woman for smuggling.

The two men were processed for immigration violations.
