The pilot of an airplane that crashed into a Cottonwood, Arizona home, Joseph William Kreiner, 70, succumbed to the injuries he sustained.
Mr. Kreiner, of Clarkdale, was severely burned in yesterday’s plane crash in the 900 block of Tierra Verde Circle.
Mr. Kreiner was flown to the Maricopa County Burn Center but was not able to survive the injuries. His family was by his side when he passed.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board removed the plane wreckage last night about 6:30 p.m. and will conduct the investigation. Mr. Kreiner will be taken to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy as part of the investigation to determine the cause of the plane crash.
