Tombstone High School Evacuated For Bomb Threat

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office and Tombstone Marshals Office responded to the Tombstone High School after a report of a bomb threat.

The school was evacuated and students were sent to the Walter J. Meyer school to be reunified with family members.

The Sheriff’s Office, Tombstone Marshals Office, and the Fort Huachuca EOD K-9 team were on the scene to assess the situation and conduct a sweep of the school for any suspicious items.

No suspicious items were located.

The investigation into the incident will be conducted by the Tombstone Marshals Office.
