McClintock Student Arrested For Threats

Tempe Police arrested a 16-year-old McClintock High School student for making threats to the school.

On September 25, Tempe Police were notified of the threat and immediately increased security at the school.

The 16-year-old, who is suspected of orchestrating the threats, was charged with making a terrorist threat, interfering with an educational institution and use of electronic communication to intimidate.

The student has also been suspended from the school.
