U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at Arizona’s Port of Nogales arrested a Mexican woman connected with a failed attempt to smuggle a combination of heroin and methamphetamine into the United States on Wednesday.

CBP officers at the Mariposa Crossing referred a 23-year-old Nogales, Sonora, Mexican resident for further inspection of her Toyota sedan Wednesday afternoon.
