The statewide tribal gaming contributions increased for the quarter ending September 30, 2018, according to the Arizona Department of Gaming.
Tribal contributions to the State from gaming revenue will be approximately $26.9 million for the quarter – a 2 percent increase when compared to the same quarter of last year.
“We are pleased to see continued growth in tribal gaming contributions for the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2019,” said Daniel Bergin, Director of the Arizona Department of Gaming. “This seventh consecutive quarter of growth is a strong reflection of our State’s healthy economy.”
The Arizona Department of Gaming will distribute quarterly tribal contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund as follows:

Per the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact, tribes with casinos contribute 1 to 8 percent of their Class III gross gaming revenue to the state, cities, towns and counties. Currently, there are 24 Class III casinos in Arizona, which ADG regulates with Arizona tribes.
