Phoenix Man Sentenced To 14 Years For Child Pornography

PHOENIX — Peter Joseph Caddeo, a 53-year-old Phoenix man, was sentenced in Maricopa County Superior Court to 14 years in prison for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, to be followed by probation for the duration of his life.

Caddeo’s activities were uncovered in 2016, when he was using internet chat groups with chat group names such as “toddler” to acquire child pornography, said a release from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

Investigators with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) located Caddeo in Phoenix, and served a search warrant at his residence.

Digital devices that belonged to Caddeo contained hundreds of images and videos of child pornography. Investigators learned from Caddeo that he would obtain child pornography by trading images on internet chat groups or spending money to download the sexually exploitative material.

Caddeo will be required to register as a sex offender.

Assistant Attorney General Joseph Waters was the prosecutor in the case. Judge Warren Granville presided over the sentencing hearing.
