Sierra Vista Man Arrested, 2nd Suspect Sought By Police

Sierra Vista resident Kevin Grayson has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred near the 100 block of El Camino Real on May 26.

Sierra Vista Police are seeking a second individual who may have been involved in the shooting.

According to Sierra Vista Police, “officers were dispatched to the scene on May 26, they spoke with witnesses who described two individuals involved in the incident. A search warrant was executed on the morning of Tuesday, May 28, in the 400 block of south Carmichael Avenue. In the search, Sierra Vista Police (SVPD) officers secured several items of evidence related to the investigation.”

Grayson was booked into the Cochise County Jail for aggravated assault and several drug-related charges. He remains in custody on a $10,000 bond.

SVPD detectives are still looking for the second individual thought to be involved in this incident and are seeking the public’s assistance. Anyone with information relevant to this investigation is asked to contact SVPD Detective Thomas Ransford at (520) 452-7500.
