Yavapai County Grandfather Wanted After 23 Month-Old Was Made Sick From Meth

A Yavapai County grandfather, Delbert Harvey, is sought by authorities after his 23 month-old grandchild was found to have methamphetamine in its system.

On September 30, a Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office personnel were dispatched to the Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott regarding a child testing positive for methamphetamine. The child’s parents were interviewed at the hospital and explained that their 23-year-old son was left in the care of Harvey while they were working.

According to the parents, at around 11:30 a.m., Henry sent a text to the child’s mother indicating something was wrong with her child. She returned home immediately. The mother noticed the child was not acting normal; he possibly having a seizure. She took him to the hospital.

After the child tested positive for drugs, he was transported to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital the child
