Woman Who Shot And Killed Two Men In Home Invasion Arrested

Gentry Megan McPherson is facing drug and money laundering charges after Tucson Police detectives collected narcotics along with several items of evidentiary value when police responded to an incident where two men were found shot and killed in the backyard of McPherson’s home.

McPherson has been charged with 4 counts of Possession of a Dangerous Drug For Sale, Possession of Narcotic Drugs For Sale, 4 counts of Possession of a Firearm During a Felony Narcotic Offense, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana for Sale (more than 2 pounds), Possession of Ecstasy, and Money Laundering.

In mid-October, McPherson found two young men trying to break into her home. She shot both of them.

According to Tucson Police, one of the young men, identified as 18 year-old Corey Teixeira, was pronounced deceased on scene. Officers began rendering aid to the second male, 18 year-old Ali Mohamed, until Tucson Fire arrived. Once on scene, Tucson Fire continued medical treatment and transported Mohamed to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Shortly after arrival, he was also pronounced deceased.

Tucson Police detectives confirmed the break-in was not a random act, and it appears to be a drug-related home invasion.

McPherson was arrested and booked into Pima County Jail on November 4, 2019.
