Arizona representatives reacted on Tuesday, to the decision by House Democratic leaders to bring two articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. Arizona’s representatives’ reactions fell along party lines, with David Schweikert, Tom O’Halleran, and Greg Stanton noticeably but not surprisingly silent on the subject.
The announcement of impeachment articles marks the culmination of an intense, fast-moving investigation into the President’s dealings with Ukraine and represents a historic choice for lawmakers with less than a year before the next election.

Then we should be able to indict the President through normal criminal proceedings. You can’t have it both ways. https://t.co/htib5SoHmI

It’s a sad day when the President unapologetically violates his oath of office and jeopardizes our national security.
Congress is forced to act, and I will support these impeachment articles when they come for a vote to the House floor. https://t.co/QiMnGLzM2O

It’s unfortunate that Dem Leadership chose to waste time on a partisan impeachment while 176k new jobs were on the line. Today’s announcement means we are one step closer to getting the USMCA across the finish line. I look forward to voting in support of the USMCA in the House.
