The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to return a veteran’s military documents to his family. The veteran, Blas Gaitan, was murdered in 2002, leaving behind a collection of patches and documents from his military service including a Bronze Star.
Mr. Gaitan “had fallen on hard times and was homeless at the time of his death,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.
