MS-13 Member Deported In February, Apprehended Again In December

TUCSON – The U.S. Mexico border is said to be a revolving door and on Thursday a member of the MS-13 gang was arrested by U.S. Border patrol agents working near Douglas. The gang member, Gonzalo García-Gonzales was previously deported from the United States on February 9, 2019.

The arrest of García-Gonzales occurred around noon, when Border Patrol agents watched him illegally enter the United States west of Douglas’s port of entry.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Garcia is in federal custody pending criminal prosecution.
