San Luis Police Arrest 11-Year-Old For Armed Robbery With Help Of Other Kids

On Tuesday night, San Luis Police officers arrested an 11-year-old for armed robbery thanks to the help of other kids.

According to the San Luis Police Department, officers responded to Super C Gas Station located at 1645 E. Cesar Chavez Street regarding an 11-year-old, who had committed an armed robbery. When officers arrived at the gas station, they found a group of four juveniles that had already physically retrained the robber.

Officers learned that the robber “displayed and pointed the weapon while demanding money from the store clerk, who was at the cash register. The juvenile took a total of $282.27 all of which was recovered.”

The suspect was booked into the Yuma County Juvenile Detention Center in a variety of felony charges to included armed robbery.
