
TUCSON – On Wednesday, a man with fentanyl in bags taped to his thighs was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agents working the Interstate 19 Immigration Checkpoint near Amado.
The 19-year-old U.S. citizen was questioned during an immigration inspection of a passenger shuttle van. Agents then performed a search, which led to the discovery of deadly pills.
A total of 243 grams in pills were found on his thighs.
The unidentified man faces felony drug charges for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute.
