Two Valley Men Arrested For Cryptocurrency Investment Fund Fraud

PHOENIX – Two Valley men, John Michael Caruso, and Zachary Salter, were both arrested in January in connection with a cryptocurrency investment fund fraud involving Zima Digital Assets.

Caruso, age 28, of Scottsdale, and Salter, age 27, of Paradise Valley, were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.

The Department of Justice is advising consumers, who may have invested money with Caruso or Salter, or Zima Digital Assets, to contact Special Agent Lamerson or Special Agent Roper at the U.S. Secret Service, Phoenix Field Office, via telephone at (602) 640-5580.
