The Tucson Police Department is investigating a shooting that took the life of Julian Holmes on Friday afternoon on Tucson’s East Side.
According to Tucson Police, on February 7, 2020 at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 1700 block of S. Craycroft Rd.
Once on the scene, officers found the 23-year-old Holmes with multiple gunshot wounds. He was alert and talking to officers. However, Julian succumbed to his injuries a short time after arriving at the hospital.
Tucson Police detectives were able to determine that the shooting took place outside of an apartment within the complex. A resident called 911 after Julian knocked on his door requesting help. According to police, Julian was associated with the complex, but did not reside there.
