Suspect Sought In Florence Bank Robbery

FLORENCE – The Florence Police Department received a report of a bank robbery on February 29, at approximately 4:56 p.m.,
at the U.S. Bank.

According to the Florence Police Department, the bank robber entered the bank located inside of Safeway at 3325 N. Hunt Highway in Florence and presented a teller with a demand note that implied that he had a weapon and requested money. The teller complied, and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency.

The suspect did not display a weapon during the robbery, and no one was injured during this incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’6” – 5’8” in height wearing a dark hat, black sweatshirt, and dark glasses.
