UPDATED: 3 New Cases Of Coronavirus Confirmed, Total Stands At 9

PHOENIX – UPDATE: On Wednesday, Governor Doug Ducey declared a public health emergency in Arizona over coronavirus.

On Wednesday, the Maricopa County Health Department confirmed that one of the new cases is a man in his 90s who is recovering in the hospital in stable condition.

Arizona now has three additional presumptive positive cases bringing the state’s total case count to nine.

Pinal County announced two new cases involving people over the age of 60. The two individuals are members of the same household of three previous presumptive positive cases.

According to Pinal County officials the two individuals are recovering at home.
