PHOENIX – Although Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman, Gov. Doug Ducey and the Arizona Department of Health Services announced on Thursday that ‘widespread school closures’ are not recommended, several school districts have opted to close their doors.
School closures:
Alhambra Elementary School District: Closed starting Monday.
Cartwright Elementary School District: Closed until further notice.
Osborn School District: Closed starting Monday until further notice.
Kyrene School District: Closed until further notice.
Pima Unified School District: Closed but may reopen depending on test results from ill students.
