SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Santa Cruz County health officials on Thursday identified the first presumptive positive coronavirus case in the area.
The County advises that the patient had “traveled to an area where community transmission is present.” The patient is currently recovering at home.
Santa Cruz County Health Services began an investigation to identify close contacts and recommend actions to prevent further spread.
