UPDATE: The number of cases has increased and now stands at 152. Health officials confirmed on Sunday a second COVID-19 related death.
PHOENIX – The number of coronavirus cases in Arizona has risen to 104. The “community spread” level is currently “moderate” with 11 of the 15 counties reporting cases.
On Friday, Arizona saw its first coronavirus death. The victim was a 50-year-old Maricopa County man with underlying health issues.
According to Maricopa County health officials, 9 victims are hospitalized, 3 are in ICU.
