Identity Of Hit And Run Driver Sought By Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help on locating the driver of a car that was involved in a hit and run incident near Sun City West.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, on April 9, 2020 at about 3:54 pm, a motorcyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a blue 4 door passenger car that was identified from vehicle parts as probably being a 2017 to 2020 Hyundai Accent on El Mirage Road south of Loop 303 outside of Sun City West. The Hyundai Accent fled the scene southbound on El Mirage Road after the collision.

The Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle that fled the scene is missing the passenger side outside mirror and may have damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
