PHOENIX – Phoenix Fire Department crews are fighting to contain a large fire at a construction site near downtown Phoenix. The fire is burning near 7th Avenue and Grant Street.

Nearly 1,000 people are without power in the area due to the fire. It’s expected to be restored around 12:40 p.m.
Arizona Department of Transportation camera showed the flames and smoke were visible from Interstate 10 and Interstate 17.
