Dear Editor,
I commend Rep. Grijalva for ensuring that taxpayer dollars intended to address mental health concerns are not squandered on cruel and pointless experiments on animals (Grijalva Demands End To Taxpayer-Funded “Psych Tests” On Animals, June 9, 2020). This is a situation where the welfare of animals is perfectly aligned with patients’ rights and fiscal responsibility. Rep. Grijalva should be congratulated for his efforts to protect both taxpayers and animals.
