Bush Fire Consumes Nearly 187,000 Acres Northeast Of Phoenix

PHOENIX – On Monday, fire officials announced that the Bush Fire, burning outside northeast of Phoenix has grown to nearly 187,000 acres. Currently, the fire is 42% contained.

On Monday afternoon, Gila County Sheriff Sheppard announced in a Facebook post that State Route 188 between State Route 87 and State Route 88 at Roosevelt Dam will open at noon on Tuesday to all traffic in both directions.
