6 GCU Men’s Basketball Team Members Test Positive For COVID-19

PHOENIX – After four student-athletes and two student managers tested positive for COVID-19, the Grand Canyon University men’s basketball team has been placed in quarantine.

This past week student athletes began returning to the campus for voluntary individual workouts.

Out of an abundance of caution, the students were placed in a 72-hour quarantine. Nearly one-third of the team tested positive.
