12 Arrested At Phoenix March On Washington Solidarity Rally

PHOENIX – On Friday night, twelve people were arrested in downtown Phoenix during a protest near Phoenix Police Headquarters.

According to Phoenix Police, some protesters laid down in the road causing a shut down to traffic.

Protesters who ignored calls to leave were arrested.

The 12 protesters all face one count each of obstructing a thoroughfare. Two protesters were also arrested based on probable cause from previous nights of demonstrations.

Those arrested and the charges they face are as follows:

Orlando Espino, Age 27, Obstructing a thoroughfare
Ethan Replogle, Age 19, Obstructing a thoroughfare
Sean Gibbons, Age 25, Obstructing a thoroughfare
Kendryck Rand, Age 24, Obstructing a thoroughfare
Kimberlee Adkins, Age 28, Obstructing a thoroughfare
Rilee Webb, Age 23, Obstructing a thoroughfare
Samuel Merten, Age 29, Obstructing a thoroughfare
Christopher Johnson, Age 31, Obstructing a thoroughfare
Leslie Ott, Age 34, Obstructing a thoroughfare, Failure to obey a lawful order, Resisting Arrest
Makayla Kellor, Age 21, Obstructing a thoroughfare, Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Assembly (prior incident), Riot (prior incident)
Jennifer Derby, Age 52, Obstructing a thoroughfare, Obstructing a thoroughfare (prior incident)
