PHOENIX — On Monday, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey announced a “plan of action to increase influenza vaccination rates” at a press conference. The governor urged Arizonans to get the flu shot in order to limit the impact of the flu and preserve hospital resources.
Ducey said his administration will be taking some “aggressive” steps this year to make sure as many Arizonans as possible can get vaccinated for the flu.

Arizona reported no new coronavirus deaths and 174 additional cases on Monday. Arizona’s death total dropped by 1, which according to officials, was due to a duplicate record of the death.
