Phoenix – A Maricopa County Grand Jury charged* Rafael (aka Rafaela) Vasquez, age 46, with one count of Negligent Homicide in the death of Elaine Herzberg on March 18, 2018.
At her arraignment on Sept. 15, 2020, before Commissioner Richard Hinz in the Maricopa County Superior Court, Vasquez pled not guilty. The court ordered that she be released to pretrial services with ankle monitoring.
An Initial Pretrial Conference is set for October 27, 2020.
