Cottonwood Police Ask Public For Help Identifying Cemetery Theft Suspects

Cottonwood Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects responsible for theft and criminal damage at the Cottonwood Cemetery over the weekend.

According to the Cottonwood Police Department, on Saturday officers responded to the Cottonwood Cemetery for a report of considerable amount of damage to gravesites located along the western fence line of the cemetery. On one gravesite there was a solid stone cross stolen.

The Department has provided a photo that shows a similar cross as part of the effort to identify the one stolen.
