Missing San Tan Valley Woman Found Alive On Gila River Indian Community,

On Sunday, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office announced that 28-year-old Jessica Goodwin of San Tan Valley who had gone missing on January 11, has been found. The Sheriff’s Office says she is currently in critical condition and was airlifted to an area hospital.

According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), phone records led detectives and Search and Rescue personnel to an area of land on the Gila River Indian Community. During their search, Goodwin was spotted around 4:45 p.m. on Sunday.

“This is the outcome we have all been hoping and praying for. I commend our detectives and our Search and Rescue team for their commitment and attention to detail,” said Sheriff Mark Lamb.

Goodwin left under abnormal circumstances, having called off work and leaving her dog at home, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

On Thursday at around 7:00 p.m., Goodwin’s vehicle was discovered abandoned with minor damage near a wash off of W. Bonnie Ln. in Queen Creek.

This investigation is ongoing.
