A former Sahuarita resident, Thomas Irving, has been arrested after he was caught with child pornography.
According to the Sahuarita Police Department, detectives served a search warrant in the 13000 block of S. Camino Borona in reference to a child pornography investigation. During the execution of the search warrant detectives were able to determine that Irving no longer resided at the address and currently resided at an unknown location in the Tucson metropolitan area.
Detectives were able to locate Irving on January 15, 2021, in the area of East Ajo Road and South Contractors Way.
Police obtained a search warrant for the cellular phone in Irving’s possession. Child pornographic images were discovered on the phone in question. Irving was booked into the Pima County Jail for one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.
