Rep. Arlando Teller Resigns To Serve In Biden Administration Dept. Of Transportation

Arizona State Rep. Arlando Teller has resigned from office to take a position in the Biden administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tribal Affairs under the U.S. Department of Transportation.

“I’m honored and humbled to have been selected by President Biden to work for his administration,” wrote Teller. “It has been a privilege to represent my constituents in District 7.”

The Apache County Board of Supervisors will select his successor.

Teller, originally from Chinle, Ariz., resigned as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives for District 7 on Jan. 31.
