Prescott Valley Couple Arrested On Assault Charges After Fight With Neighbors

A Prescott Valley couple ended up in a Super Bowl scuffle with some visiting neighbors.

According to the Prescott Valley Police Department, on Sunday afternoon, officers were called to the 3000 block of Greg Drive in response to a barricaded suspect with a handgun.

Prior to the officers’ arrival, Eric Corozza was involved in a domestic dispute with his live-in girlfriend, Lindsay Excell, during which Corozza pointed a handgun at a victim neighbor who was at the residence for an unrelated reason. A different neighbor attempted to disarm Corozza, without success. Excell assaulted one of the neighbors while he was restrained by Corozza.

Corozza fled inside the residence, where Excell was still inside. Officers were called to the scene.

Shortly thereafter, Corozza and Excell surrendered to patrol and SWAT personnel and were taken into custody.

Eric Corozza of Prescott Valley, 46, was booked for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Disorderly Conduct involving a Weapon and being a Prohibitied Possessor.

Lindsay Excell of Prescott Valley, 38, was booked for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Disorderly Conducted involving a Weapon.
