PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who allegedly took his 2-year-old daughter without permission.
Deputies responded to a call of a kidnapping on Thursday afternoon in the area of 71st Avenue and Broadway Road.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the mother of the 2-year-old allowed the father Tyler Garbett to drive the vehicle for a short distance. They stopped to check the mail at 71st Avenue and Roeser. Once the mother exited the vehicle, Garbett took off with Aurora who was in a car seat in the back seat of the car.
Garbett was last seen wearing a white plain T-shirt, tan button up shirt, and khaki shorts. e was driving a 2009 Nissan Versa.
