The Pima county Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of 49-year-old Kevin Lawrence.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, March 22, 2021, at approximately 3:45 p.m., deputies responded to the 2000 block of West Nebraska Road for a rescue follow-up involving a male having trouble breathing. When deputies arrived, they found Mr. Lawrence with signs of trauma.
Lifesaving efforts by Drexel Heights Fire Department personnel were unsuccessful and Mr. Lawrence, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives say the cause of death has yet to be determined and no arrests have been made.
