Goodyear Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Attempt To Lure Minor Incident

The Goodyear Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a Luring a Minor for Sexual Exploitation case.

According to the Department, on April 6, at around 5:15 p.m., a student from Westar Elementary was walking home from sports practice, when approached by an unknown man in a vehicle. The man allegedly made inappropriate comments to the student before a couple walked up and caused the subject to leave the area.

The incident occurred at the entry way of the trailhead located near 18101 W. Westar Dr.

The police believe this is an isolated incident.

The subject in this case is described as a black male, 20-30 years of age with short black curly hair or dreadlocks. He was wearing a light red polo shirt with a collar. The subject was driving a white 2000s model Pontiac GT 2-door sedan.
