A Somerton father was arrested by Yuma County Sheriff’s Office investigators after he was accused of child molestation by his two daughters.
According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, April 9, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m., deputies responded to a call in reference to a welfare check after receiving reports of a possible molestation case.
Upon making contact with the reporting parties, two female sisters ages 29 and 11, deputies noted indicators of abuse. The sisters were interviewed by Sheriff’s Office investigators. The victims disclosed they were assaulted and molested by their biological father.
Juan Fraga, age 59, was contacted and interviewed by Investigators. He was booked on multiple charges to include Molestation of a Child and Sexual Conduct with a Minor.
