Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb is spearheading an effort to “keep the shine on the badge” through his very own streaming network.
Lamb told KPHO that no taxpayer dollars are being used for the subscription-based network called “American Sheriff.” For a mere $4.99 per month, viewers will go “inside sheriff departments across America for exclusive access.”
In June 2020, A&E canceled Live PD in the wake of George Floyd’s death. The extremely popular show featured Lamb and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office more than 50 times in three years.
At the time, Lamb said he was disappointed as Live PD “helped form and keep good relationships with our community, and was a boost to our recruiting efforts.”
