Lesko Wants Answers On Reported Covid-19 Vaccine Deaths

WASHINGTON, D.C. – As the Biden administration ramps up it push for vaccines and private companies threaten to terminate employees who refuse to get vaccinated, Congresswoman Debbie Lesko is asking Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration to clarify the number of deaths due to COVID-19 vaccines.

“Over the last several months, I have received many inquiries from my constituents concerned about the side effects—including a number of deaths—caused by COVID-19 vaccines,” said Lesko. “Their concerns are primarily based on reports on the CDC’s and FDA’s Vaccine Adverse Event Report System (VAERS) database. Since anyone can file a report with VAERS, it is imperative that the CDC and/or the FDA also inform the public about how many of these reports have actually been verified. The American people deserve full accuracy and transparency that can only be provided by verified data. I want to know what the CDC and FDA are doing to verify and not verify the reported deaths, how many vaccine-caused deaths have actually been verified, and how they plan to report verified deaths and side effects to the American public.”

Dear Dr. Walensky,

I am writing to request a briefing as soon as possible to obtain clarification on the number of deaths due to COVID-19 vaccines. A growing number of my constituents believe that the COVID-19 vaccines have killed over 6,000 people. They appear to be basing their beliefs on the V AERS reports of deaths. It is vitally important that the public receive accurate information.

I understand the VAERS database accepts reports from any individual or provider; therefore, the data in YEARS is considered unverified. In order to provide accurate information to my constituents, I would like answers to the following questions:

• After reports of adverse events resulting from the COVID-19 vaccines are reported in V AERS, what is the verification process used to validate the cause/effect relationship of the event to the COVID-19 vaccination?

• Given that the VAERS data base contains unverified data, what is your agency doing to make the public aware of accurate, verified information regarding deaths and serious adverse events? Do you have an equally accessible data base of verified data?

• How many deaths are attributable to COVID-19 vaccines?

• Other than deaths, how many serious adverse events are attributable to COVID-19 vaccines?
