An anonymous tip has led to the arrest of a Prescott Valley hit and run driver.

According to the Prescott Valley Police Department, on Monday, August 2, 2021, at about 12:26 p.m., officers responded to a traffic collision between a truck and a bicyclist at the Urban Forest on Lakeshore Drive near Navajo Drive. Officers arrived to find the bicyclist, a 63-year-old man from Gila Bend, Arizona, suffering from extensive injuries.

The driver had fled the scene in a white two-door truck.

The victim was hospitalized in stable condition with lacerations and possible head injuries.

Investigators believe the driver intentionally hit the bicyclist because he yelled at the bicyclist as he exited the parking lot, and then returned to the parking lot at a high rate of speed and struck the bicyclist. He again exited the Urban Forest parking lot and was last seen traveling west bound on Lakeshore Drive.

In the early morning of August 3, 2021, an anonymous tip was received that the suspect was in his truck at the Pruitt’s parking lot located in the 7500 block of State Route 69. Officers located the suspect vehicle with fresh damage to the driver’s side headlight. The driver, identified as Glen Cosse, admitted to striking the victim with his truck during questioning.

Cosse was placed into custody and transported to Yavapai County Jail where he is charged with Aggravated Assault.
