On Tuesday morning, firefighters from Golder Ranch Fire District and Northwest Fire District rescued three people from one of two vehicles trapped in the swollen Cañada del Oro Wash at Overton Road east of La Cholla Blvd.
One vehicle had 3 passengers who were safely removed by firefighters and another vehicle had one driver that was able to get out on their own.
