The Phoenix Police Department is hoping the public can help them identify a vehicle they believe is connected to the shooting death of 23-year-old Destiny McClain.
On Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 3:23 a.m., Destiny was standing at a food truck in the area of 17th Street and McDowell Road when she was stuck by one of several bullets that were fired into the crowd of people surrounding her. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
A vehicle of interest (above) was seen leaving the area eastbound on McDowell Road from 17th Street. Phoenix Police Department investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
