Facebook Censors Black Conservative Radio Star For “Follow The Law” Message

KFYI's James T. Harris Asked School Board To "Teach Your Kids To Follow The Law"

On Thursday, Facebook censors inexplicably labeled a video posted by conservative radio show host, James T. Harris, “false information.” In the video, Harris addressed the Chandler Unified School Board on Arizona’s law prohibiting mask mandates for grades K-12.

The same video, posted moments before on his Facebook page, has not been the subject of censorship, making Facebook’s censor’s move even more perplexing.

Although the Facebook censors refer to “a rise in the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths” and a claim made by Michael Yeadon, Harris mentions neither in his address to the school board. Harris simply said that adults should teach children to follow the law.

“It’s obvious that we live in a divided country,” began Harris, “you can look at this room and see people who are masked and people who are unmasked, but the founding fathers gave us the Bill of Rights for this very moment. We have an unelected bureaucrats telling us that we have to mask up – that we have change our behavior in order for the greater good, but freedom means that we have individual rights. We can exercise them as we will. This room is a microcosm of how things should be in the schools. We have board members that are masked and we have board members that are not masked. It should be an individual choice. What we’re doing is turning the social contract upside down. All this tension that the young lady was talking about in school is because of decisions that adults have made. We need to act like adults. We need to understand that the legislature and the governor signed a bill into law that says you cannot mandate masking. If you have a problem with that, get rid of the Legislature, get rid of the governor, but we have to teach your kids to follow the law. God bless America.”

In his speech, Harris referred to a “young lady,” who had addressed the board before him. The student old the board that the presence of masks on campus had created a hostile environment.

“The first thing I’d like to mention is what I’ve seen so far with masks,” said the young Chandler student. “I’ve seen kids who prefer to wear and kid who don’t. During the time that we’ve been forced to wear them, I have seen aggression, and hate towards other students. I have not seen kindness in any way. I’ve seen hostility, any adjective you can name. I’ve gotten into more arguments with class members, and it is ruining the entire school experience. Kids go to school to learn not to be criticized. It should be our right and choice to wear a mask. We should not be forced to wear these things. I would also like to thank all the brave people coming out here to speak for freedoms.”

At the same time Facebook was marking Harris’ video “false,” he was on the air interviewing Arizona State Rep. Joseph Chaplik on a letter sent to Governor Doug Ducey and signed by over 20 State lawmakers calling for the enforcement of the mask mandate prohibition. Chaplik is also the lawmaker whose bill, HB 2770, was signed into law which states that businesses are not “required to enforce on its premises a mask mandate that is established by this state, a city, town or county or any other jurisdiction of this state.”

In July, White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted that the Biden administration was working with Facebook to identify posts regarding COVID-19 vaccines that it claims is “misinformation.” She explained that the Biden administration considers inaccurate information to be misinformation as well.

“The admission of interference by the administration regarding censorship and “misinformation” has led to claims of First Amendment violations, as well as a pattern of contradictions from health officials — including Psaki — regarding information throughout the pandemic,” reported the Daily Caller.

The Biden administration’s admitted standards for censorship would still not explain why Harris’ post was labeled “false information,” due to the fact that he was addressing an actual Arizona law.

Harris never mentioned the number of Covid-19 cases in his address to the School Board.
