Arizona’s congressional delegation were for the most part united in their criticism of the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. Both Republican and Democratic representatives applauded the decision to withdrawal and the criticized the implementation of the withdrawal.
Both sides seem to believe that Biden did the right thing in the wrong way.
Let’s set the record straight before Biden & co. starts blaming Trump for the Afghanistan disaster.
Biden abandoned Trump’s peace plan & exit strategy & haphazardly created his own. Biden is FULLY responsible for this absolute wreck.

Our military didn’t fail Afghanistan. The American people didn’t fail Afghanistan. Hubris of us the elites in Washington DC did. We failed to understand Afghanistan and we failed to understand the American public’s will for a long engagement..again.

Blaming “us the elites,” Rep. Ruben Gallego tweeted, “We failed to understand the American public’s will for a long engagement..again”
